Welcome to our Non-Profit, Smart City Mobility Company.
We are James and Tricia Gyurkovic and we started this company the same day we applied for our marriage license.
James and I first met in the 1990's through a mutual friend and we dated for a period of time. However, we were young and had different plans, so we went our separate ways. God always has a plan, and we reunited in 2021 and understood the path ahead was together. We dated long distance for about 6 months and then we were engaged. I made the move to Texas in August of 2022, and we were married on November 3, 2022. I am the first and the only Mrs. Gyurkovic. 😉
It is our faith that empowers us to follow his path and to trust we are in the place we need to be. We are followers of Christ, mother and father, husband and wife, and business and life partners. People are in need of help for different reasons, and we need to be the change. We need to be the light for people who live in a world of darkness and despair. Our love and our passion for God, for each other and for our children is what continues to guide us. We hope to leave a legacy for our 3 beautiful children and that they will continue on the path of serving others and being the light.
Our mission is to restore mobility, giving accessibility and opportunity to communities.
We are also passionate about the preservation of history. To move forward with progress, we need to look to the past and we need to learn from it and in some cases, we need to repeat it.
The sustainability of our environment is extremely vital to our future.
Smart City Mobility has rediscovered the future of mobility lying in the past. The Interurban electric rail ran from 1902-1934, connecting the DFW metroplex. On Christmas Eve of 1934 this line stopped running. Following the shutdown many thriving communities' lost accessibility and opportunity that other cities were able to maintain. These areas have never recovered. However, restoring this part of history to these neighborhoods will bring a renewed sense of hope and opportunity.
